'Fast and Furious' called false flag against gun dealers

WASHINGTON—The U.S. government running guns to Mexican cartels is “comparable to the United States funding al-Qaida to make someone in the United States look bad,” according to the author of a new best-seller.

Katie Pavlich is the author of “Fast and Furious: Barack Obama’s Bloodiest Scandal and the Shameless Cover-Up,” news editor of Townhall.com and an expert on the Fast and Furious scandal.

In an interview with WND, she asserted that the Obama administration intentionally orchestrated a “false flag” against lawful gun dealers, the U.S. Border Patrol and Mexican citizens to give cause for more gun regulation.

On Saturday, Kaufman County District Attorney Mike McLelland and his wife, Cynthia, were found shot to death in their home in Forney, Texas.

The couple have five children, including a son who is a Dallas police officer.

The bloody crime scene was reminiscent of those commonly seen in Mexico, amid that nation's ongoing war with the drug cartels.

A law enforcement official who spoke on the condition of anonymity said there "were shell casings everywhere."

U.S. Government Says They “Would vote “yes” on the treaty” To Ban Guns Internationally

Attention: open in a new window. PDFPrintE-mail

Written by mrconservative.com Monday, 01 April 2013 03:22

The Obama administration has long made it clear that it was intrigued by United Nations Arms Trade Treaty (“ATT”) which, if enacted, will control or prohibit ever civilian arms shipment anywhere in the world.  Republicans and a handful of Second Amendment Democrat Senators have been so worried about the Obama administration’s flirtation with the UN ATT that the Senate passed an amendment to stop the Obama administration from entering into the ATT.

The Senate was right to be worried about the Obama administration’s intentions. On March 28, the Obama administration engaged in an underhanded maneuver that ensures the ATT will pass despite America’s non-participation.  Worse, even without the U.S. as a signatory, the treaty’s passage will have a drastic negative impact upon American gun manufacturing, sales, and use.

Thousands of armed vigilantes have taken over a town in Mexico and arrested police officers after their 'commander' was killed and dumped in the street.

The self described 'community police' and arrested 12 officers and the town's former director of public security, who they accuse of taking part in the killing of Guadalupe Quinones Carbajal, 28, on behalf of a local organised crime group.

The 1,500-strong force has also set up improvised checkpoints on the major road running through Tierra Colorado, which connects the capital Mexico City to Acapulco, a coastal city popular with tourists less than 40 miles away.

Gun store rescinds Mark Kelly's rifle purchase, questions his 'intent'

Written by foxnews.com Tuesday, 26 March 2013 05:14

A Tucson gun store owner has decided to rescind the sale of a military-style rifle to Mark Kelly, the husband of former U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, after Kelly said he had intended the purchase to make a political point about how easy it is to obtain the kind of firearms he's lobbying Congress to ban.

Kelly's March 5 purchase of an AR-15-style rifle and a 45.-caliber handgun at Diamondback Police Supply sparked a frenzy of reaction from both sides of the debate after he posted to Facebook a photo of himself shopping.

A background check took only a matter of minutes to complete, Kelly said in the Facebook post, adding that it's scary to think people can buy similar guns without background checks at gun shows or on the Internet.

New 'Fast and Furious' report finds DHS warning signs ignored

Written by latimes.com Friday, 22 March 2013 05:14

WASHINGTON — Even as they lost scores of illegal firearms in their Fast and Furious operation, federal ATF agents asked their Border Patrol counterparts not to pursue criminal leads or track gun smuggling in southern Arizona so they could follow the firearms themselves, and senior Homeland Security agents “complied and the leads were not investigated,” according to a new Department of Homeland Security inspector general’s report.

The report, obtained Thursday by The Times, also said that a Homeland Security special agent on the border was collaborating with the ATF in Fast and Furious, but his “senior leaders” in Arizona never read his updates about fundamental flaws with the failed gun tracking operation. Had they done so, Homeland Security officials could have tried to close down the operation before one of their Border Patrol agents, Brian Terry, was killed not far from Tucson.

For more than a year, New York state has maintained a tip line allowing people to report illegal gun owners and collect a $500 reward.

CBS-6 news reported the existence of the tip line on Wednesday. It was previously a “well-kept secret” that received little promotion from state officials or fanfare in the media, according to the New York State Rifle and Pistol Association.

A high-risk immigration detainee released in February in Arizona for budget constraints had been convicted of multiple misdemeanors including five for drug possession and two for theft and possession of stolen property, according to federal immigration-enforcement officials.

The 68-year-old immigrant also had been deported to Bolivia in February 2008 because of the multiple criminal convictions, and he tried to re-enter the United States at the Nogales port of entry in December 2009, according to information provided by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in response to a request from The Arizona Republic.

The immigrant is one of four detainees classified as Level 1, the highest risk, who remain free nationally after being released by ICE during a three-week period in February to reduce detention costs ahead of automatic spending cuts known as the sequester, which took effect on March 1.

The Associated Press Reads More Into Rand Paul’s Speech Than is There

Written by redstate.com Thursday, 21 March 2013 05:02

Erica Werner of the Associated Press gives us a textbook example of why talking about immigration in the United States is so hard. She reads into statements things that are not there.

The headline of her article is “Rand Paul endorses immigrant path to citizenship.” Giving her the benefit of the doubt that someone else wrote the headline, her first paragraph reads thusly:

Republican Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky is telling a Hispanic business group that illegal immigrants should be allowed to become U.S. taxpayers and ultimately get a shot at citizenship.

I have read the entirety of Rand Paul’s speech. I have spoken directly to the Senator.

No where in his speech does he use the word “citizenship.” In fact, the word citizen is only used once, in reference to Rand Paul himself saying, “As a teenager, I was not always the model citizen that I am today.”

Gov't acknowledges thousands released from jails

After weeks of denials, the Obama administration acknowledged Thursday that it had, in fact, released more than 2,000 illegal immigrants from immigration jails due to budget concerns during three weeks in February. Four of the most serious offenders have been put back in detention.

The administration had insisted that only a "few hundred" immigrants were released for budgetary reasons, challenging as inaccurate a March 1 report by The Associated Press that the agency had released more than 2,000 immigrants in February and planned to release more than 3,000 others this month. Intense criticism led to a temporary shutdown of the plan.

Activity and assaults against federal agents patrolling the U.S. Mexico border have increased. Now, one field agent tells NBC 7 San Diego that agents from other parts of the country are being called in to help patrol.

Jerry Conlin with U.S. Border Patrol said the agency saw a 70 percent increase in assaults against U.S. Border Patrol agents last year over the previous year.

“In 2011 we actually recorded 77 assaults against our agents,” Conlin said. “Last year we had 133."

America – For Sale

Attention: open in a new window. PDFPrintE-mail

Written by local2544.org Thursday, 14 March 2013 03:33

This is what happens when politicians sell American laws and values down the river for Democrat votes. Apparently there are thousands upon thousands of illegal aliens who didn’t get the Napolitano memo about how “secure” the border is. They just keep coming…and coming…and coming. Since we aren’t allowed to properly count those who escape arrest, she can keep lying to the American people in her never-ending quest to legalize millions of lawbreakers.

While demoralized Border Patrol agents try to figure out how to survive the Obama-Napolitano-Aguilar sponsored 40% pay cut that is coming next month, the media in Mexico has relayed to everyone that America has been put up for sale once again.

How secure is the border? DHS stats only measure part of the problem

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano testified to Congress last month that the border “has never been stronger.” What she doesn’t say is that the department no longer measures illegal immigrants who get away -- only those it catches.

“For two years, Secretary Napolitano has claimed our southern border is secure without having any metrics in place to make that determination,” Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, told Fox News on Monday. “Such statements demonstrate her lack of leadership and unwillingness to solve the problem."

City Billboard Urges Hispanics to Revolt

It is considered billboard art, but it comes off more as a revolutionary slogan.

Rise Up, My People: Is “Arriba Mi Gente” art, or an inflamatory call for uprising?
“Arriba Mi Gente” by Nancy Guevara depicts a hoard of people with clenched fists and flags raised, over an image of the U.S.-Mexico border and a heart emblazoned with the Mexican flag logo. The slogan, in Spanish, plastered prominently over the artwork translates “Rise up, my people,” with the idea of uprising clearly suggested.

Jeb Bush going for 'full Ginsburg' to promote immigration policy on TV

Written by guardian.co.uk Sunday, 10 March 2013 18:11

In insider Washington slang it is a publicity coup that has been dubbed the "full Ginsburg" – when a single interviewee snags a slot on all five of American television's major Sunday morning talk shows on the same day.

It was named after Monica Lewinsky lawyer William Ginsburg – who was the first to pull it off in 1998 – but now former Florida governor Jeb Bush will on Sunday repeat the rare PR feat.

The move is certain to stoke up a frenzy of fresh speculation about Bush's future political plans and whether he intends to run for the White House in 2016 and perhaps restore a Bush dynasty that has already seen one of his brothers and his father occupy the Oval Office.

Gabby Giffords' Husband Buys AR-15

AZBD Note: You can't make this up. Mark Kelly, the guy who prostitutes tragedy for political gain has bought an AR-15 and a .45 pistol. Kelly's BS story is he's going to "turn the gun over to TPD". Yea maybe now that he got caught he might just have to do that. In the below story Mark Kelly comments on how quick it was to pass a background check. Imagine a background check that takes a few minutes in the era of computers! This is liberal hypocrisy at its finest.

Mark E. Kelly, gun-control proponent and husband to former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords, recently purchased an AR-15 (an "assault weapon," he called it)—which he now says he intended as an illustration of the need for more stringent gun laws.

Kelly reportedly bought the AR-15 and a 1911-style semi-automatic pistol at Diamondback Police Supply in Tucson, Arizona.
