AZBD Note: Voting to reject the Stonegarden funds in an attempt to continue to aid the illegal alien invasion of America is a direct act of treason.
The Pima County Board of Supervisors has voted 3-1 to reject $1.4 million in federal funds, ending months of back-and-forth over a controversial border security grant.
The money was part of Operation Stonegarden, which provided money to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department to enhance border security.
The grant covered overtime pay, mileage and equipment. Sheriff Mark Napier said that money helped him send deputies to rural, underserved areas of the county. It also helped fund vital parts for PCSD helicopters.
