AZBD Note: We had to add the “while in a Hospital” part to the title of the article because CNN apparently doesn’t think that is important. Unfortunately another child has lost their life due to their parents poor choice of taking a young child on a dangerous walk across the desert while illegally entering another country. But hey, lets blame Customs and Border Protection, right CNN?
An 8-year-old Guatemalan boy died Christmas morning in the custody of US Customs and Border Protection, the agency said.
He is the second Guatemalan child to die in CBP custody this month.
The boy, who was detained with his father, died shortly after midnight at Gerald Champion Regional Medical Center in Alamogordo, New Mexico, about 90 miles north of the border crossing in El Paso, Texas. The father and the boy have not been identified.
