BORDER PATROL SET TO COLLAPSE IN TX

From dmldaily.com:

On May 23, 2014, the Associated Press released a report stating the number of illegal aliens being arrested per day in the Rio Grande Sector of South Texas, is averaging 1,100 per day.  This number is from the May 11-17 reporting period.  The 1,100 represents the number of people being arrested.  This means the number of illegal crossings are anywhere between 2,000 and 3,000 per day as most illegal crossings go undetected.

Over the past 12 months, the Border Patrol has been increasing its presence in Texas. The AP report states that most new Border Patrol Academy graduates are being assigned to the south region along the Rio Grande where crossings are easily accomplished.  Additionally, 115 agents from other Texas sectors and from Arizona and California are also being temporarily deployed to the Rio Grande Sector.
