CBP Nabs Convicted Sex Offenders And More MS-13 Members At Border

Our standoff at the southern border has calmed down a bit since Mexico recently agreed to keep the caravan members on their side while their claims are heard. But that doesn’t mean that there hasn’t been a lot of ongoing border security action. Particularly in Arizona and Texas, illegal aliens seeking to sneak into the country still have Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents hopping. The Border Patrol deals with plenty of people who don’t have any criminal records of note, but mixed in with those crowds are some serious bad folks. In recent weeks, they’ve reported a number of significant arrests, including known gang members and sexual predators. (Daily Mail)

Border Patrol agents have arrested two convicted sex offenders and two MS-13 gang members who were all previously deported.

The arrests occurred in four separate incidents this week near the border in Arizona and Texas, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

On Wednesday, agents arrested a 46-year-old Mexican national, after he illegally entered the U.S. near Lukeville.

During processing, agents discovered he was convicted in 2002 of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor in Mesa, Arizona.
