President Donald Trump again signaled his “great love” for recipients of DACA on Tuesday but told reporters he had “no choice” but to end the executive amnesty program established by former President Barack Obama.
“I have a great heart for these folks we’re talking about,” Trump told reporters in the Oval Office today. “A great love for them.”
He told reporters that most DACA recipients were young adults and not children, possibly referring to talking points repeated by his critics.
